MnDOT Newsline is the Minnesota Department of Transportation's biweekly online publication
for employees. Articles in MnDOT Newsline fall into one of four categories:
Headlines: News about projects, legislative proposals and actions, modal news, new technology.
Variety: Features about employees on-the-job, MnDOT history, project- and job-related awards, and health and wellness news/tips
Business: Information about organizational appointments, business how-to’s (tips), computer support, conferences, diversity, HR notices, organizational changes, policies and strategic initiatives
Voices: Commentaries from MnDOT management and employees on topics of departmentwide interest. MnDOT Newsline reserves the right to edit articles for length and clarity. We will not print libelous statements or personal attacks. If you are writing about a controversial issue, we may solicit an opposing view. Commentaries should be:
- Brief (300-400 words)
- Related to the business of MnDOT
- Signed with employee's name, office and phone number
